Gull with a hole
A distressed looking Herring Gull against an sombre background with a small hole.
Acrylic painting on found plywood. Framed using an adapted lid of a vintage hardwood transparency box. The painting is held to the frame using magnets, so is easily removable. Copper screw eye ring hanger attached to top.

This is one of 15 paintings that were due to be exhibited at Cass Art in Bristol, but the exhibition was cancelled due to Coronavirus restrictions, so the exhibition was hung on a wall in my kitchen.
